Ideas of a traditional Christmas are left far behind at the party which will see thousands of revellers dancing on the beach of Haad Rin and hitting the many bars and clubs that line the water front.
Local and international DJs will be providing the latest music and entertainment as people dance the night away into the early hours of the morning. Travellers from around the world come to enjoy what is probably the country’s most famous dance event and take in the unique party experience.
The Full Moon Party is a monthly event held every time the moon is at its fullest and in December the evening will be kicking off on the 21st with a special party again scheduled for Christmas day on 25th.
As well as the music party goers attending the event can see a wide variety of performances including fire shows and fire eating as well as music from live bands.
With the party being so popular the island can become crowded during the event and many people opt to stay in Koh Samui which are just a short boat ride away from the island.
