"The Palace" is a luxurious 5 suite residence located directly on the beach in Thong Krut, a quiet fishing village in the south of Koh Samui. When you first enter the walled premises you are presented with the sights and sounds of soothing tropical waterfalls.
The maid's quarters are located in the huge driveway and a stepped pond leads you to a magnificent Buddha carving which stands proud in the lobby area of the main 2 storey pavillion.
Huge teak doors for the first 2 suites flank the carving. As with all the suites these are double bedrooms with fitted teak wardrobes. They have stunning sandstone ensuites with stand alone bath tubs and double rain showers. Walking through the suites the sliding doors will lead you to their own patios with sun beds and views of the beautiful landscaped gardens.
To the left of the entrance hall, steps lead down to a smart, elegant, stone-floored kitchen with black granite counters, huge dark wooden cabinets and breakfast bar. Through one cabinet door is a second kitchen with living quarters for staff, on hand for whatever you may need, including a chef to help bring the true tastes of Thailand to your table.
The upper level of the pavillion is a 250 sqm open plan kitchen, dining, living and television area decorated with modern Italian and Asian furniture. This is where you are invited to spectacular views of Koh Tan and the silhouettes of the mountain peaks of the main land. A magnificent covered verandah wraps around the pavillion. A smooth natural stone staircase leads you down to the rear of the home. On your right are 2 further suites separated by a Japanese Koi Carp pond.
To the left is the main suite with a lounging area. The stunning ensuite offers 2 bath tubs and an outside rain shower with wooden decking. Sliding doors guide you directly to the pool area. Outside sun decks complement the suites.
As you walk closer to the beach you come to a blue slate infinity pool which melts away into the sea and the surrounding islands.
To help greet the evening there is a substantial sala with kitchen and wine cellar.
This exceptional property has surround sound systems throughout and each suite has a plasma television, individual satellite system and separate sound systems.

* Daily rates from US$1,000 to US$1,500 for the entire villa or US$750 to US$1,000 for 3 bedrooms depending on season.
* Minimum stay of 3 nights (7 nights over Christmas and New Year, 5 nights over Chinese New Year, Easter and Songkran)
